CONSTRUCTION ACADEMY
Regina Mundi Catholic College is excited to launch our Construction Academy in September 2025. Current grade 10 students are eligible to apply to the Academy.
What is the Construction Academy?
The construction academy is a two-year program for students in grade 11 who are interested in a trade in the Construction sector. The academy will provide students with opportunities to start apprenticeship hours, work with community partners, participate in certifications and experiences through the construction Specialist High Skills Major program and participate in full day cooperative education programs with the potential for the cooperative education placement to be a paid placement in grade 12.
Grade 10 students will learn about apprenticeships (OYAP) and the construction academy in their careers classes and will participate in a hands-on field trip to the Don Crich Skilled Trades Accelerator at Fanshawe College with their careers class.
There is limited space in the construction academy and all students who are interested must fill out an application form and submit their application to their guidance counsellor by February 28th.
We are so excited offer this unique program to our students at RMC.
Please contact Mr. Barnes, Principal, if you have any questions.
