During this month of February, we come together to celebrate the many contributions of Black Canadians to our country. We recognize the legacy of the diverse Black communities in Canada that passionately lives on today. This year, the theme of Black History Month is Celebrating Black History today and every day. This is a reminder that Black History is Canadian History for all of us. By acknowledging the contribution of Black Canadians from all walks of life, we can have a richer understanding of our collective experience as a nation.
